Welcome to Swanage Fish & Food Festival.

We are extremely pleased and proud to announce the dates of the next Swanage Fish & Food Festival as Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June 2024! So get your fishy & foodie heads on and get ready for another taste-bud tantalising journey through all things fishy and delicious in Swanage!

Fun For All The Family

Spotlighting Purbeck businesses and skills, there will be entertainment for the whole family with sumptuous food, drinks and fishy crafts. There will be stalls offering a huge variety of fish, cockles, mussels, scallops, oysters and of course, champagne! Plus delicious foods as an alternative to fish and lighter meals especially for children too!

There are also live cooking demos from top local chefs, showing how to create perfect dishes.

We will have a dedicated children’s area, Little Fishes, for entertainment, crafts and even fancy dress just for our younger visitors! So come and explore all the festival has to offer.

Free to attend, the festival takes place in the beautifully landscaped Prince Albert Gardens in Swanage. These public gardens feature an open-air amphitheatre and overlook one of the country’s most beautiful bays. It really is the perfect setting for this fabulous event.

Each year, the festival makes donations to Swanage Lifeboat, The Fishermen’s Mission and the National Coastwatch Institution Swanage, so help us support these fabulous charities by purchasing a raffle ticket or giving a donation to one of our official collectors.

Applications for 15th and 16th June 2024 are now closed, however, we do have a reserve list so please contact us if you wish to add your name.

The Grand Hotel, Swanage

Buds of Mave

Caroline, at Buds of Mave, is one of the original committee members instrumental is the setting up and running the first Swanage Fish Festival in 2015. Caroline has been an active committee member ever since and has unstintingly and generously supported the festival each year via Buds of Mave. We are very fortunate to have Caroline on the committee and are grateful for her input.

Swanage Sea Rowing Club

The SSRC have been long-term affiliates of the Fish & Food Festival, with their loyalty and practical assistance in the set-up and take-down of the festival site, lending of equipment and facilities. Without which, it would be extremely difficult for the festival to proceed and we would like to extend our grateful thanks to everyone at the SSRC.
